What Is Donald Trump, Newborn Birther, Trying To Hide From Us?

3/29 UPDATE: Possible proof of Trump U.S. birth uncovered

What is Donald Trump hiding?

The multimillionaire developer has, overnight, become a leading voice of the “birther” movement, members of which doubt that President Barack Obama was born in the United States (and, thus, is unable to produce an authentic U.S. birth certificate).

“It’s inconceivable that, after four years of questioning, the president still hasn’t produced his birth certificate,” Trump told Newsmax. “I’m just asking President Obama to show the public his birth certificate. Why’s he making an issue out of this?" To prove how easy it was for a household employee to find his birth certificate, Trump, 64, crowed, “It took me one hour to get my birth certificate.”

As seen above, he provided the conservative web site with what he purports to be his birth certificate.

Except the document is not an official New York City birth certificate, but rather a document generated by Jamaica Hospital, where Trump’s mother Mary reportedly gave birth in June 1946. Official birth certificates are issued (and maintained) by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s Office of Vital Records.

So, what is Trump trying to conceal?

On a possibly related note, Jamaica Hospital has been the recipient of significant financial largesse from the Trump family. In fact, the Queens institution includes the Trump Pavilion, a nursing and rehabilitation facility that was named for Mary Trump.

[If The Donald wants to hunt in his sock drawer for the official birth certificate, he should look for a document that includes an official Department of Health stamp and resembles city forms like ones used decades ago, like this or this.]

Brilliant! Now all you have to do is explain exactly where on any birth certificate you can find the citizenship status of the mother of the child (or the father for that matter). No such thing appears on any birth certificate, so how on earth could that be why he is hiding his?
Trump is right. Here is Obama's Kenya BC: newyorkleftist.blogspot.com/2009/09/another-kenyan-birth-certificate.html
Are you serious!!!! Kenya wasn't a country when Barack Obama was born!!! It was still part of the British Empire
Don't be ridiculous. Of course Kenya was a country in 1961. A country doesn't cease to be a country just because it is part of the British Empire. I suppose India wasn't a country either?
Yes but there was no such thing as a Kenyan birth certificate until 1963 when Kenya drafted it's constitution and the British handed over power to the newly recognized Republic of Kenya. Prior to that, any person born in the country was issued a British birth certificate. So what im saying is if you want to make a fake birth certificate to show Obama was born in Kenya, it would have to be a British birth certificate
Sorry but that's also nonsense. Of course there were Kenyan birth certificates prior to 1963. British birth certificates are only issued to people entitled to British birth certificates. Being entitled to claim a form of British nationality in 1961 by being born in Kenya to a Kenyan father is a completely different thing from being entitled to a British birth certificate by being born in Kenya to a Kenyan father. They are not interchangeable like you are trying to do. If Obama was born in Kenya in 1961 to a Kenyan father (a concept I happen to think personally is absurd) it would most certainly be a Kenyan birth certificate that would have been issued. No British birth certificates have ever been issued in Kenya.
I wonder if Trump did this to bait the pro-Obama crowd into pressuring him (Trump) for a better birth certificate, something the "birthers" have been expecting from Obama all along. Wouldn't this reveal a double-standard?
That would only make sense if Trump had released some kind of state issued birth certificate similar to Obama's and if it was a birth certificate that would be valid for all the purposes that a US citizen could ever need a birth certificate for, like Obama's COLB is....if people said that wasn't enough and they wanted doctor's names etc Trump could then play that card. However it doesn't work when your starting point is to publish a hospital souvenir keepsake that would be useless for getting a passport or driving licence etc. That thing might as well have "Cabbage Patch Dolls" printed at the top for all the legal use it has as a birth certificate. Obviously you need something official and legal. Apples with apples and all that.
I agree with one of the first posters, what better way to point out there is a double standard that Trump be thought to be hiding something by not showing his COLB but Obama doesn't need to. I hope Huffington, Media Matters, NPR, and MSNBC plus all the other lefties out there bite on this...then when Trump pulls out his COLB....crickets as they realize now their elected hero will need to put up his, as well. Well played, set and match!
The document that everyone claims is insufficient proof IS Barack Obama's certificate of live birth...I'm assuming that that's what you mean by COLB. The President has shown his "COLB", you can find it just by googling it...and of course, that was called not proof enough. I don't think any "birthers" will ever be satisfied. Whatever document the President produces you will find some smudge on a corner and cry foul. And just to prove how far people will go, a fake birth certificate was made for Barack Obama showing he was born in the nation of Kenya....the only reason I know that's fake is because Kenya wasn't a country in 1961, it was still a part of the British Empire and every person born in the country that year was given a birth certificate from the British Empire. Just accept it, you lost in 2008. I was pissed about the supreme court decision in 2000 that stopped the recount in Florida and gave Bush the election...but you know what, I got over it!! Bush was our President from 2000-2008 and I have no problem admitting that without sounding like sore loser hung up on some made up technicality.
