Noted: Alleged Walmart Masturbator Assured Cops, “I Swear I’m Not A Pervert.”
The Florida man charged in last week’s Walmart masturbation incident assured arresting officers that, “I swear I’m not a pervert,” and offered to clean up the results of his public indecency, according to police.
William Tyler Black admitted to Sarasota cops that he had been masturbating in the store’s toy aisle, claiming that he had been driven to the act after he spotted “some pretty girls which made him aroused.” Black, 28, added that he “grabbed a magazine and then found a back aisle and began to masturbate until he relieved himself on the floor,” cops reported in a probable cause affidavit.
Investigators told TSG that Black used a copy of the 2010 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue during the September 14 incident. [Update: Crime scene photos revealed that Black actually opted for SI’s $11.99 “Swimsuit Portfolio,” a bound volume featuring model Brooklyn Decker on its cover.]
A version of the affidavit was released last week by police, but Black’s statements to cops were redacted from the document. An unredacted copy of the document was obtained today from Circuit Court files.
Black, who remains in custody in lieu of $2000 bond, today filed a bond reduction motion, which is scheduled for an October 13 hearing.
