Rummaging through some New York court files, we came across these interesting cases:
First, the artist we still refer to as Prince recently filed copyright and trademark infringement lawsuits against several web sites, accusing them of selling bootleg albums and using unauthorized photos. The Smoking Gun doesn't know if the minuscule Minnesotan has a case or not, but we love the description of the small singer in this lawsuit excerpt. And we dig that 1995 trademark for Prince's dopey symbol. (3 pages)
Jennifer Alfert wasn't aiming for the George Hamilton look when she visited a Manhattan tanning salon--the procedure helped ease her psoriasis. But, as this lawsuit alleges, Alfert's treatment was interrupted by a pair of prying eyes. (3 pages)
