Lil' Kim Rapped With Perjury Charges

APRIL 14--Rapper Lil' Kim was indicted today on felony charges for allegedly lying to a federal grand jury probing a February 2001 shootout in New York City involving members of her posse. The 28-year-old performer, whose real name is Kimberly Jones, was charged with perjury, conspiracy, and obstruction of justice for lying (during three grand jury appearances last year) about the gunplay she witnessed outside the Manhattan office of radio station WQHT. At the time of the gun battle, Jones, pictured at right in a booking photo from a 1996 arrest, was reportedly involved in a beef with rival rapper Foxy Brown (real name: Inga Marchand). Below you'll find a copy of the indictment filed against Jones (who's facing eight felony counts) and three cohorts in U.S. District Court in New York. (25 pages)
