Sharpie Assault In Methodist Locker Room

Just when TSG thought the only use a football player had for a Sharpie marker was the post-touchdown ball signing, along comes some innovative Methodist College gridders. Seven players from the North Carolina school were arrested recently on hazing charges for some locker room horseplay that included a pack attack on a freshman player who was stripped of his underwear while being restrained. The players allegedly wrote on the frosh's butt with a marker and smacked "the victim numerous times on the rear end," according to reports filed by campus cops. Wide receiver Antonio Wilkerson, a 21-year-old Methodist senior, was also charged with sexually assaulting the freshman athlete with the Sharpie marker. The Methodist players--six of whom were starters--were suspended following their November 14 arrests and missed the team's final game, a 20-12 loss Saturday (11/16) to Shenandoah University.
