Mother-To-Be Slugged At Her Gender Reveal
Police: Ex-con walloped victim at family party
JULY 13--A gender reveal party ended yesterday with the mother-to-be getting punched in the face by her boyfriend’s brother, who was arrested on a felony charge of battering a pregnant woman, according to a Florida court filing.
Cops say that Marshall Richardson, 27, was a guest at a family party Sunday afternoon at a St. Petersburg residence that was hosted by Richardson’s brother and his 20-year-old girlfriend, who is six months pregnant.
During the party, cops say, an argument began after Richardson “told subjects to stop smoking around the kids.” After the pregnant woman became upset and called Richardson names, Richardson got into a fight with his brother.
When the siblings were separated, the pregnant woman again called Richardson names, prompting him to allegedly punch her in the face. The woman had “minor redness to her left cheek and jaw line area” when officers responded to a 911 call.
Pictured above, Richardson was arrested for aggravated battery, a felony, and booked into the county jail. He was released from custody last night after posting $10,000 bond.
Richardson is a veteran of the court and corrections system, records show. His rap sheet includes convictions for robbery; armed burglary; cocaine possession; false imprisonment; and probation violation. Since 2012 he has served three separate state prison terms totaling 44 months.
The criminal complaint filed against Richardson does not indicate whether the alleged felonious conduct occurred before or after it was determined whether it’s a boy or girl. (1 page)
