NOTE: This week’s booking photo roundup can be viewed two ways:

I) Click here to page through the photos in old school TSG style. In the upper right corner of each page you’ll find a description of the criminal charge(s) leveled against the suspect.

II) To look at the booking photos in a lightbox, just click the image beneath the “View The Document” arrow at left. When you mouse over the respective photos, the charged crime(s) will appear in a small box.

MAY 2--The Oregonian, 38, who kicks off this week’s mug shot roundup--and also strikes an alluring pose--was collared for criminal mischief and interfering with the making of a report. As for his fellow suspects, some notes:

1) The Michigan man on page #6 was arrested for failure to appear in court in connection with a case dating back about 13 years (he had previously been arrested on vehicular charges); 2) The 35-year-old Georgia woman on page #8 was busted for driving with a suspended license, which probably ruined her prom night; 3) Who has the time to shop for both t-shirts and bling? Not the 29-year-old on page #11, who was jailed on an immigration hold; and 4) That souvenir on the forehead of the 23-year-old South Carolinian on page #13 came in connection with her arrest last week for drunk driving. (15 pages)

And #6 appears to be blind (dark glasses and what appears to be a cane). What were the previous vehicular charges?!
Pic #2 - "Arrested for failing to notify the DMV of an address change." Honestly, that's enough to haul someone in and do a mugshot? Would love to know which jurisdiction this was in so I can stay well away from it. Around here that's the kind of thing they'd tell you to take care of ASAP and then send you on your merry way. What a waste of resources!
Yeah, I did a double-take on that one too, wasn't sure if I had read it correctly...
In some areas the DMV is used to track/register felons on parole, perps free on bail or sex offenders.
