Sticky Note Stick Up Foiled

AUGUST 30--Meet Michael Lyons. The Georgia dope might want to try the mall next time he's looking to entertain his daughters and their young friends. According to a Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department report, Lyons, 45, sent one of the girls he was driving around last Friday into a bank with a short message for the teller. But unbeknownst to 12-year-old Cathrine, the yellow Post-it note she passed along to the teller was a stick up note. The little missive led another employee to trip the bank's alarm, bringing both local cops and federal agents to the scene. And while Lyon's excuse, 'it was a joke' that 'he didn't mean anything by' may have kept the FBI from locking him up, it did result in him getting hit with an attempted robbery charge and taking a trip down to the Chatham County Detention Center where he posed for the below mug shot.
