Meet The Teens Behind Today's Most Disgusting Swimming Pool Incident

Meet Andrew Harris and Michael Cline.

The Floridians were arrested early this morning in connection with a rather repulsive incident in the swimming pool at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort and Golf Club in St. Petersburg.

As detailed in a St. Petersburg Police Department report excerpted here, Harris, 18, and Cline, 19, were lounging in the pool--though neither was a hotel guest--when Harris allegedly defecated in his shorts and threw feces across the pool. “Grabbing another handful,” the teen then dove underwater and “smeared the feces all across the bottom of the pool.”

Harris and Cline--whose hijinks were caught by surveillance cameras--then repaired to the resort’s hot tub, where they were later collared by police.

Hotel employees told cops that “this has happened 4-5 other times in the past month,” forcing the pool to be closed, drained, and cleaned. Since Vinoy workers estimated that it cost $10,000 to clean the pool the last time it was defiled, Harris and Cline were charged with commercial burglary.
