Cheeseburger Beef Leads To Domestic Bust
Cops: Man, 19, charged after dispute with mom
JUNE 15--An argument with his mother “over a cheeseburger” resulted in the arrest Monday night of a Florida man on a domestic battery charge, police say.
Cops allege that Noah Sullivan-Lincoln, 19, quarreled with his 57-year-old mother in the kitchen of the family’s St. Petersburg home. During the dispute, Sullivan-Lincoln “spat in the face of the victim as they were arguing...over a cheeseburger.”
Sullivan-Lincoln, an arrest affidavit charges, “smacked the cheeseburger out of the victim’s hand and in that process he struck her arm and hand.” After being read his rights, Sullivan-Lincoln reportedly confessed to the attack.
Charged with domestic battery, a misdemeanor, Sullivan-Lincoln was booked into the county jail, where he spent half-a-day in custody before being released Tuesday afternoon on his own recognizance.
Sullivan-Lincoln, who works for a window replacement firm, has been ordered by a judge to have no contact with his mother. (1 page)
