JANUARY 3--A West Virginia man confessed to following female shoppers around Walmart and squirting them with semen contained in a syringe, according to a criminal complaint filed against the accused pervert.
Timothy Blake, 28, was arrested Friday by Ohio cops investigating a pair of vile incidents involving women “getting an unknown material sprayed or thrown on them by an unknown male.”
Blake, pictured at right, was freed from custody today after posting $11,000 bond. Charged with a pair of felony obscenity counts, Blake has been ordered to wear a GPS monitor as part of his release conditions.
In early-November, a Walmart shopper told police that a “creepy” man lingered near her in the store’s makeup aisle. After the man passed behind her, the shopper “felt something wet on her foot and lower back.” The woman then went to the bathroom “and tried to wipe the material off her but it was sticky.”
On December 28, another woman told police that “some substance” had been “thrown or sprayed on her” while she was shopping at the same Walmart in Marietta, a city across the Ohio River from West Virginia. A review of store surveillance footage revealed that the suspect in last week’s incident was identical to the “creepy” man spotted in November.
After identifying the truck driven by the suspect, cops confronted Blake at a Wings Etc. restaurant as he sat down for dinner with his wife. When asked what he was throwing on the female victims, Blake first claimed that it was egg yolks. But when police advised that they “had the material tested,” Blake “then admitted that it was semen in the containers he was squirting” at the buttocks of women.
Blake, cops say, admitted to entering a single Walmart store on about 12 occasions “and squirting this material on women.” The defendant, according to a criminal complaint, “stated on about four of those occasions he had squirted semen on women and the other times he had used egg yolks and flour or spit.”
Blake said that he would “masturbate in his vehicle somewhere and ejaculate into a syringe. The defendant stated sometimes he would masturbate in the Walmart bathroom, but in either case, spray it on the unwitting women,” according to the court filing. Blake said he had access to syringes since he owned a farm and inoculated animals.
Blake said he targeted the victim in the early-November spraying because he “thought she displayed exhibitionist characteristics and wanted to be noticed.” When asked if the semen spraying was like having a sexual encounter with the victim, Blake told cops that, “maybe it was his way of having sex with these women and that was what he thought of when committing these acts.” (6 pages)
