Shocking Report Details Vegas Cannibal Case
Man, 29, accused of murder, "eating" victim's face
MAY 1--The Las Vegas man who was spotted “eating the face” of a victim he allegedly murdered told police that he was “tweaking,” hearing voices, and fought with a “shape shifter” before killing “through the help of the higher power,” according to a gruesome police report.
Colin Ichiro Czech, 29, has been charged with the April 28 murder of Kenneth Brown. Police charge that Czech knocked Brown to ground, where his “head forcefully struck the concrete” near Las Vegas Boulevard.
A witness who called 911 to report the violent confrontation said that a man was atop the victim “eating the face of the male on the ground,” according to a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department report.
When officers arrived at the scene, they spotted Czech kneeling on the ground next to Brown’s head. Seen at right, Czech had blood on his face and hands and “biological matter in his hair, mouth, and on his clothing.”
Brown, cops say, had an injury to the back of his head and “was also missing his left eye and left ear.”
Czech, who claimed to have been attacked by Brown (who he called “Drake”), told cops that he had been awake for “five straight days” because something was “possessing him.”
Asked what he used to hurt the victim, Czech reportedly replied, “My teeth.” The accused added that he “used his teeth to eat ‘Drake’s’ eyeballs and ears.”
Czech told police that the voices in his head told him to kill the victim, “who he does not know.”
During a court appearance today, Czech’s lawyer said that he believed his client was incompetent to stand trial. (3 pages)
