Blushing Bride Is Busted On Her Wedding Day
Newlywed still wearing gown, veil nabbed on warrant
JULY 18--Between her marriage vows and the reception, a Michigan woman was arrested Saturday afternoon on a felony identity theft warrant and booked at the county jail while wearing her wedding dress and veil.
Tammy Lee Hinton, 50, was busted at the City of Zion Ministries church after the conclusion of her wedding. Hinton, pictured in the above mug shot (click to enlarge), was taken into custody by Blackman-Leoni Township cops.
Hinton was booked on a two-year-old felony warrant accusing her of identity theft, according to a District Court filing. Hinton, who lives in Port Richey, Florida, was arrested after Michigan cops received tips that she was returning to the state to get wed.
After being booked at the jail, Hinton was freed on bond. (2 pages)
