JULY 14--Claiming that Mike Tyson has stiffed him for $29,000, a psychiatrist who once treated the boxer is suing him for nonpayment of bills. Dr. Mitchell Gibson, who filed the below lawsuit on July 1 in Los Angeles Superior Court, claims that he began treating the former heavyweight champion in mid-2000 and played a key role in helping Tyson regain his boxing license (which has, to date, been suspended 39 times). According to the complaint, Gibson charged Tyson $8000 monthly and made emergency cross-country visits for which he billed another six grand. (6 pages)
