This is the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department report detailing a recent confrontation between singer Rick Springfield and his wife at the couple's Malibu home.

Springfield was arrested and charged with domestic violence, but prosecutors subsequently declined to pursue charges "because the only evidence that the victim was assaulted is the hearsay statements made to her sister."
