NBA Star Killed In Auto Crash

This is the accident report prepared by Charlotte police following the fatal January 12 auto crash involving Bobby Phills, the Charlotte Hornets star. Phills and teammate David Wesley were racing their Porsches at more than 100 mph when Phills lost control of his car and veered into oncoming traffic. As of January 20, the local district attorney was still mulling charges against Wesley, who was driving at the time with a suspended license. (2 pages)
