Linda Tripp Wiretap Indictment

This is the two-count indictment charging that Linda Tripp violated Maryland's wiretap laws when she recorded telephone conversations with Monica Lewinsky and then turned those tapes over to Newsweek magazine.The two felony charges each carry a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine. This is Tripp's second brush with the law.
