Kilborn, CBS Target Bush

Since CBS probably won't be repeating the August 4 edition of "The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn" anytime soon, here's a video still from that evening's infamous "In The News" segment. In a monumentally dumb bit, the show super imposed the words "Snipers Wanted" over an image of Bush delivering his acceptance speech at the Republican convention. Both CBS and David Letterman's Worldwide Pants (which produces Kilborn's nightly smug fest) apologized for the "inappropriate and regrettable" graphic/threat. TSG guesses this means that Dubya won't be taking Dave up on that offer to debate Al Gore on the Ed Sullivan stage. (1 page)
