Democratic Moneyman Surrenders
Norman Hsu, a Hillary Clinton patron, jailed in old theft case
AUGUST 31--Meet Norman Hsu. The disgraced campaign moneyman today turned himself in to California authorities, 15 years after he disappeared prior to his sentencing for a felony grand theft conviction. The fugitive Hsu, a leading fundraiser for Hillary Clinton and many other top Democrats, was jailed on $2 million bond following an appearance in San Mateo Superior Court. Hsu is pictured in the below mug shot taken today by sheriff's personnel. Clinton and other pols have been rushing to disgorge money given to them by Hsu, whose fugitive status was disclosed earlier this week by the Los Angeles Times. (1 page)
