Bon Jovi Family Feud: The Hidden Records

Rock star Jon Bon Jovi (real name: John Bongiovi) is feuding in federal court with his cousin Anthony Bongiovi over who is the rightful owner of a batch of songs the entertainer recorded in the early-80's, when Jon worked in cousin Tony's New York recording studio (known as the Power Station).Jon claims he was only a lowly "gofer" at the Manhattan studio. Tony says he paid Jon to write and record songs for him and that he, Tony, therefore owns these works. To back up the claim that he helped launch Jon's career, Tony has filed scores of documents showing that he paid for everything from Jon's singing lessons to his cousin's guitar strings. Here are a few of those old receipts, documents we think belong in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. While we're glad Jon/John has ditched those cheesy Capezios for Versace, we still think he needs additional cosmetic consultation. (2 pages)
