SEPTEMBER 5--Five more Texas strippers have been swept up by police in a crackdown at an upscale Houston strip club.
In a raid late last month, Houston Police Department officers nabbed the quintet for violating statutes governing sexually oriented businesses. The women were nabbed on misdemeanor charges for their work at The Men's Club, which boasts that its dancers can "make more money in one shift than most make in a week!"
Two raids earlier this year targeted Houston's Treasures strip club, where 11 employees (and then four) were popped. (5 pages)
