Federal Agents Arrest Twitter Pimp For Sex Trafficking Of Child
Federal agents have arrested an alleged pimp--and, until recently, ardent Twitter user--for the alleged sex trafficking of a child, an offense that carries a minimum 15-year prison term.
One week after he was featured in these pages, Marquist Bradford, 26, was arrested Wednesday in Springfield, Illinois. Bradford, pictured at right, will now be transported to Sacramento, California, where he has recently lived and where he was indicted last month for pimping out a 15-year-old girl.
As TSG previously reported, Bradford is a wannabe rapper who uses the handle “King Kutta Mackin.” He maintained a Twitter account--@king_kutta--which detailed a lavish lifestyle and described him as a “fresh fly nigga love doin me and love liven!!$$ money is my movation and bein broke is my Fear!”
Hours after TSG disclosed that Bradford had been named in a sealed criminal complaint (and was being sought by federal task force agents), his Twitter page was deleted.
In one of his final tweets, the Twitter Pimp appeared to tell his followers about a new addition to his illicit stable. “Just put a new bitch down $$ let's see if she can keep dis money comin round $,” Bradford wrote.
