Horned Oklahoma Man Off Hook As Assault Rap Is Dropped
The horned Oklahoma man arrested recently for allegedly trying to run his landlord down with his car is off the hook.
A Tulsa judge dropped a felony charge against Jesse Thornhill, who was busted in July for assault with a dangerous weapon (a 1996 Ford Windstar van), according to court records. The case was dismissed following a preliminary hearing during which the alleged victim testified that the incident was just a misunderstanding.
The run-of-the-mill bust of Thornhill, 29, received national attention due to his unique appearance, as seen in the above mug shot. In a Tulsa Police Department report, Thornhill’s body modifications were described thusly in the "personal oddities" section of the document: "Horns, neck tattoos, implant earrings on head."
