Three-Year-Old Boy's Newspaper Obituary Refers To His Strong "Pimp Hand"

A newspaper obituary for a three-year-old Oklahoma boy who was killed this week by his family’s pit bull reported that the child loved fishing, playing with trains, and that his “uncle Charlie taught him how to keep that pimp hand strong.”

The obituary for Jordan Charles Collins-Tyson, which was printed Monday in The Lawton Constitution, was based on information provided by family members.

The boy was attacked by the dog Sunday at his home in Lawton, a city about 90 miles from Oklahoma City.

Jordan is survived by his mother and four siblings. The boy’s father was murdered in October 2012, eight months after the child’s birth. Charles Anthony Tyson, 30, was beaten and shot to death on the front porch of his family’s Lawton residence.

Jordan will be buried today at Highland Cemetery in Lawton.
