Arrested Man Credits 4chan With Helping Him Grow His Child Porn Collection

 

In what is becoming a frequent occurrence, a man arrested for possession of child pornography told federal agents that he obtained illicit images of minors from 4chan, the notorious web site where memes are born and online jihads hatched.

During a raid last month at his upstate New York home, Ronald Ohlson, 37, told Department of Homeland Security agents that he has “viewed images depicting child pornography for approximately 2 years,” and obtained photos from 4chan and file sharing services like Limewire.

An examination of Ohlson’s computer turned up several images showing prepubescent girls engaged in sexually explicit conduct. A May 16 U.S. District Court complaint, excerpted here, charges Ohlson with receiving child pornography.

4chan founder Christopher "moot" Poole, pictured at right, has claimed that site moderators immediately remove child pornography (and report its posting to law enforcement authorities). Somehow, though, many 4chan visitors have encountered little difficulty in locating illegal images on the popular site.

It's pretty much a false dichotomy, but theoretically, child porn enthusiasts are far worse than Mexicans. It would be nice to get rid of these perverts, but most child porn is outsourced, so it wouldn't prevent it from being made.

What are you? A leftist college professor? Or do you just play one on this message board? I'm going to say this because I'm not intimidated by you calling me a racist, but it's a fact that many Mexican men (illegal or not) are attracted to young girls and the age of consent in Mexico is 12-18. Many, many Mexican men have been arrested in the U.S. for seeking to or for having sex with underage girls. Other countries also have a young age of consent, so it's not just Mexico. I know you read or watch the news, so why didn't you consider this before asking your question? We don't have that choice, anyway, so why even ask it? I know why because it's what leftists try to do to chastise anyone who doesn't share their leftist beliefs. It's just another one of your ways to try to make the U.S. establishment look bad. Times have changed, though since you leftists have been doing that and government establishment has taken a turn to the left, so if you have a complaint about such policies, look within your own beliefs to see why you even have to ask that question.

I'm just playing with the message board and apparently you. I just wanted to know which is higher on the tea bagging priority list. The US establishment doesn't need my help making it look bad on a number of topics. You’re very wrong about the government turning towards the left. Politics have taken a scary turn to the right. There are no Rockefeller Republicans or I'd most likely be supporting/not dislike them. All the Republicans want to do is dismantle unions and take Medicare from the elderly. They are far more generous to corporations (who fund their campaigns) then they are to the people who vote for them. We are in the middle of class warfare and the rich are winning. I don’t know where you fall but I do not make $250,000 a year so my opinions fall where I believe they should.

You're so far out of the loop! The Obama administration and the Democrats are the right, now? You long for Rockefeller? For you to say any of that proves that you're way far left. Now we know what you really are, no use trying to deny it. You are a whiner and jealous of anyone who is of a higher status than you are, financially or otherwise. So, you perpetuate lies, half-truths and inuendoes to try to bring down 'the establishment', no matter what party it is that you think is keeping you down. You're half right that Republicans want to dismantle unions...it's conservatives who want to do that. Republicans definitely don't want to take Medicare from the elderly, but the Democrats refuse to even review their ideas because they want to own the elderly for their votes. You don't think Democrats depend on corporations? Look at Hollywood! Democrats are more linked to international corporations, as well. And Democrats are hell bent on raising taxes on everyone and depend on the bullying IRS for enforcement, but Republicans (not RINOs like Rockerfeller) want to change the tax system to be more fair to all. You know, you're the only one responsible for your own life and if you choose to buck what conservatives and the Tea Party has to offer to help you reach your potential, then you aren't serious about seeking a solution.

OH MY DAIYES!! You need to shuddupayourface about politics now, you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. For a long time I have refrained from mentioning my nationality on here; I'm British, yet I seem to know a lot more about US Policies than you do, which is a shame really - you actually get to vote. Hell, they'll be letting monkeys out of the zoo to vote next; they may have about the same knowledge of US domestic and international policies as you. Obama is a con merchant, but what do you expect - he's a professional politician. What does the alternative offer? Nothing different seemingly, except unfortunately they're fairly blatant with their shady deals with the multinationals. Shame on you for being so ill-informed and so solid with your opinions. Someone with more intelligence would be open to reasoned argument and possibly listening to all the facts before standing behind an opinion.
