"Fighting Is What Redneck People Do," Explained Drunk Guy Who Shot Lawnmower, Brawled With Teen Son

Meet Mark Wach.

The 43-year-old Floridian was busted last week on a variety of criminal charges after he allegedly got intoxicated, shot his lawnmower with a .380 pistol, brawled with his teenage son, and had to be tased three times by police.

After being cuffed and placed in a cruiser, Wach asked why he was being arrested, according to a Martin County Sheriff's Office report. After being provided with an explanation by a deputy, Wach claimed that he “shoots in the yard all the time.”

And, as for fighting with his 18-year-old son, Wach remarked that, “fighting is what redneck people do.”

That unique explanation did not sway deputies, who charged Wach with domestic battery and aggravated domestic assault with a firearm.
