Terror Chief Dick Clarke's Resignation Letter

STUFF: Jacko sues for return of his stolen property

MARCH 23--Fighting off criticism from former anti-terrorism advisor Richard Clarke, the White House today released a copy of Clarke's January 2003 resignation letter, which praised President George W. Bush's "courage, determination, calm, and leadership" on September 11, 2001. Clarke, who wrote that it was an "enormous privilege" to serve Bush for two years, is the author of the just-released book "Against All Enemies: Inside America's War on Terror." In the book, Clarke criticizes Bush and his top aides for focusing on Iraq while ignoring pre-September 11 warnings about al-Qaeda. (1 page)
